Cynthia works as an executive coach and leadership consultant to both public and private sectors on issues surrounding change and performance. She has been working in the life sciences arena since 1992, specializing in executive recruitment, development, and performance enhancement, and her clients have included start-up companies as well as global corporations. Cynthia’s technical expertise includes four years of bench experience in pharmaceutical drug discovery and development. She is a Regulatory Affairs Certified (RAC) professional for pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device products.

Cynthia has earned her Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential through the International Coaching Federation and she is a Certified Empowerment Coach through IPEC Coaching. She earned a BS degree in Chemistry from Canisius College and an MS degree in Chemistry from Princeton University. Cynthia is a trained administrator of the Genos Emotional Intelligence (EI) Assessment and the Platinum Rule® Behavioral Style Assessment. She has also received formal training in facilitation, leadership onboarding, and conflict management.

Cynthia is a member of several organizations including the International Coach Federation, the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association, the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society, and the Drug Information Association. She is a columnist for PharmaChem magazine on Leading Change.

Cynthia is a frequent keynote speaker and workshop presenter to a variety of audiences on topics relating to leadership, transition management, team building, emotional intelligence, career development, and work/life balance.
